The Constitution & Competition Rules

Garie Boardriders is an Incorporated Association governed by it registered Rule of Incorporation:

The associations competitions are run in accordance with the Surfing Australia Rule Book 2024, except that the age divisions are different and our Pointscore System is different.

The Surfing Australia divisions are:

Garie Divisions are:
  • Grommets (Boys & Girls) Under 14 years at 1 January
  • Junior (Boys & Girls) Under 18 years at 1 January
  • Open Men/Women Open any age
  • Masters Men/Women Over 45 years at 1 January
  • Dukes Over 60 years at 1 January
